Extracurriculars

I am deeply involved in robotics, participating in FLL for four years, FTC for one year, and FRC for one year. I've demonstrated leadership by starting and managing my own FLL team for three years and mentoring another team. In FRC, I work with CNC machines to manufacture parts for our robot.

Summer Programs

During my Austin Energy internship, I created automation programs for configuring reclosers and placing fuses on transformers using Milsoft Windmil software and Excel. This hands-on experience with grid equipment deepened my understanding of electrical engineering and allowed for collaboration with other interns.

Projects

During my summer, I learned deep learning concepts and iterated on a stock prediction model, starting with basic MLPs and advancing to GRU, CNN-BiGRU, and transformer architectures. I tackled challenges in data normalization, feature engineering, and model complexity. I integrated it into algorithmic trading programs, evolving from a basic Z-score and news sentiment model to a deep learning model integrated with Lumibot and Alpaca, and I'm currently working on a deep reinforced learning model for trading.
